Each dog that is used in our breeding programme is fully health tested with the tests listed below. Our Inuits & Timber dogs have the same health testing. If we use an outside stud, they also have been tested for all of the tests listed. Our health test results are available for viewing to prosepective owners.

Our health testing includes:

Degenerative Myelopathy - Dogs can be Clear (N,N) from the disease or a carrier (DM,N). Dogs whom are a carrier, must only be bred to dogs whom are Clear (N,N). Embark DNA - Each dog is Embark DNA tested with full profiling, including breed break down. This DNA test tells us the % of each breed within the dog. It also tests for over 160 dieases, of which some are not relevant to our breed. For more information on Embark, please visit: embarkvet.com/
